The Loftleidir boasts the capital’s only hotel swimming pool, alongside a sauna and exercise room. And it’s also the place for going places, with regular city centre shuttles and bike hire for touring the local neighbourhood or further afield. The 220 rooms are split into three types – Standard, Poet (named after Iceland’s literary greats) and Deluxe, plus one suite – all including satellite TV, fridge, trouser press and hairdryer. Icelandair Hotels have implemented complimentary shuttle service from hotel to the City Centre of Reykjavík. This service is valid for all guests staying at Icelandair Hotel Loftleiðir and Icelandair Nordica Hotel. Dong Fang Salon Iceland’s first Chinese foot reflexology massage centre, the “Dong Fang Salon”, has now been opened at Hotel Loftleiðir. It is the perfect place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life and to relax with a good foot soak, shoulder and foot massage. The salon is arranged so clients can sit in a private area or a shared area for up to ten people. You can even hold a meeting in the room while you get a massage! Refreshments and food can also be ordered. |
