| Hotel Matinlahti´s location is ideal for the travellers who value peace and quiet surroundings, beautiful nature and the vicinity of the sea. Yet the hotel is only 12 km from the city center of Helsinki with excellent connections by public transport from Kamppi bus terminal near central railway station in Helsinki. On Friday and Saturday nights the last bus leaves at 3.45 a.m from Helsinki. Hotel Matinlahti has two separate saunas with showers and changing rooms. The sauna department also includes two cosy cabinets. The sauna is free for hotel guests every morning. Other times, the saunas can be reserved for private use. Hotel Matinlahti is famous for its excellent food! Your day starts with a lanced breakfast and lunchtime offers a scrumptious buffet with starters, entrees and dessert buffet (mon-fri). Hotel Matinlahti was originally built as a congress center for a major Finnish bank. Oldest parts date back to 1970`s and newest additions were built 1985. Rooms have been renovated 2002. |
