Fantastic location in a nice shopping street. From the room we were above the gondoliers floating below and the same from the breakfast room where you could have an afternoon drink and watch them pass from a large observation window, practically within touching distance! This was very special. Also 300m from San Marco Square, although that time of year its best to avoid the incredible crowds. Why pay higher prices when you can stay at this hotel? It was very close to all the major sites. We traveled to Venice via train, caught the water bus, got off at the Rialto Bridge stop and walked to the hotel in 5 minutes (carrying and pulling our luggage).
