Kommentar : Booked for a romantic weekend. Despite the fact that most rooms had a terrace we were not offered one but had our things put in a street view room without a balcony. As we had ordered chocolates and wine for arrival and these were all laid out in the room where our suitcases had been put it became embarrasing to ask for a move. We should have been asked our preference beforehand. Also booking bed and breakfast you do not then expect to pay for a cooked one.

Kommentar : The staff was so friendly and helpful. Especially William, the doorman, Louise at the frony desk, and the hostess at breakfast. They made us feel so welcome and brightened the dreary weather.

Kommentar : This is one of the most attractive hotels I've ever stayed at - convenient, lovely facilities, very attentive staff - and the roof garden, with its intimate view of Calton Hill, is stunning. Seemed a bit unpromising from the approach - busy road, etc - but was absolutely a charmed (and charming) atmosphere. Would recommend it without hesitation.

Kommentar : Booked the hotel for a weekend in Edinburgh for a 30th present and the hotel was everything that I was hoping for. Couldn't fault the friendliness of the staff and the bottle of wine on arrival was a pleasant suprise. Would thoroughly recommend the hotel in the future.
