The staff were friendly and helpful. We were rather anxious after having read some of the reports as we were celebrating a special wedding anniversary, but we had no problems and had a wonderful stay at the West End. They need to be more hospitable. Our rooms were unrenovated but a good size and comfortable. The bathroom did not have a shower screen which made showering difficult. Our deluxe sea-view was interrupted by the enclosed balcony which was dissappointing. We often used the private beach across the road which was very enjoyable. Your Swisscom Internet service has very questionable timing. If you use the 1st option for the full hour nonstop -you get 1 hour if you sign off and back on again the full time not given and no indication available as time is being used ! -and very expensive !!! A Hotel of your quality should have FREE WiFi or business centre internet for de luxe rooms.
